Learn rhythms of boleadoras and zapateo with instructor Hilario “Master Gaucho” in this 2 hour intensive workshop. Hilario “Master Gaucho ‘’ has a decorated international career, performing over 20 years in Las Vegas.

Traditionally Boleadoras were a weapon used by Gauchos to hunt animals. Gaucho Dancers transformed the weapon into a percussion instrument by swinging them and hitting the floor in rhythmic patterns combined with zapateo!

The Gaucho act is a Folkloric dance originated from the Pampas of Argentina that symbolizes the movements and spirit of the Gaucho!

Boleadoras

Traditionally Boleadoras were a weapon used by Gauchos to catch wild animals. Gaucho Dancers transformed the weapon into a percussion instrument by swinging them to hit the floor in rhythmic patterns.

Meet

Master Gaucho

Master Gaucho Hilario Cabral, is an internationally acclaimed Argentine Gaucho dancer who has performed his act in over 30 countries, including while aboard prestigious cruise lines, Las Vegas productions, and the Royal Command Performance for the Queen of England.

Hilario is a Master of Tae Kwon Do, hence his title "Master Gaucho." His mission, as an educator, is to mentor the next generation of artists and pass down the qualities that brought him success in the entertainment industry - determination, confidence and humility.
